Living life in Del mar, Solana Beach and Carmel VAlley...
It’s hard to pick just what is the best part of living on the coast of North County San Diego.  Is it taking a sunset walk on one of our beautiful beaches like world famous Torrey Pines or the Del Mar Bluffs?  Or taking a run at low tide on the flat sandy beaches of the Del Mar Beach Colony or Fletcher Cove?

Perhaps the best part is spending a Sunday afternoon at one of the local Farmers Markets with your favorite pooch, then strolling to Del Mar Plaza or Cedros Avenue for some really cool shopping and a bite to eat?   Or maybe you enjoy a really nice dinner at the newest most luxurious movie theatre in San Diego County, the new Cinepolis Luxury Theatre at the Del Mar Highlands?

I think the best part of living in coastal North County is the constant view of nature wherever your day leads you.  And nature doesn’t cost a thing…(well there is that small matter of property taxes, the cost of housing and funding public open spaces but let’s not quibble). Our dedicated open spaces and lagoon paths, the proximity to the trees of Rancho Santa Fe and the fabulous San Dieguito Community Park are so beautiful.  Spending an afternoon with your family at one of the many great parks in Carmel Valley, Del Mar or Solana Beach is priceless.
Many people move here for the weather, the beautiful beaches and the great schools.  But they end up staying here because it just doesn’t get any better than this.  (well, ok…a Trader Joe’s would be nice…)

Cardiff by the Sea, Encinitas, and Leucadia are our cool beach neighbors just minutes away.  We share the same schools, sports activities and let’s face it.  Encitas has Trader Joe’s and the best library in San Diego County. North County wouldn’t be half as interesting without downtown Encinitas, the Cardiff Kook and Trader Joe’s.

We are really lucky to live and work on the coast of San Diego! If you think you might like to North County Coastal your home, search now to find your piece of paradise.
